GG last night, it was fun.
I hope i'm not stepping on any toes here, i know your an experianced clan for many years now, but when NmE wins a war, i like to hop on irc or the other clans forum and just let them know where they went wrong.
Really in defence i only noticed 3 things.
1) Your defence was very scattered, you tested many many stratagies in the game, different stratagies for defence _can_ be very very effective, but only if they're well planned before the war. Hell, when we beat Moo on Last-Resort, we had 4 set defence plans, If something wasn't working, the defencive leader would scream "SWITCHING TO PLAN B" then when the time was right "PLAN B NOW". The defence towards the end was very good, and i acctually think it was the exact same strat you used at the start... But i think the main reason for your constant changes was because we would get 2 or 3 caps, and then you would decide the def wasnt working. But this wasnt forts where scores are normally no higher than 2 or 3 caps per team, it was smooth, and smooth is a high cap map.
2) You experimented with different players in different classes throughout the map, after watching the demo i found that you had around 5 different pipers throughout the game. 1 change, understandable, someones not having a great day as a piper then its good to get rid of him early on, but constant switching leads to players going into the position cold, and thus, they dont know which entrances the offence had been using for the whole game up untill they let 3 caps out.
3) Your defencive comms need improving. I could'nt count the times i took the flag out the FR, then seeing the back of the RR soldier and thinking "I'm toast", and then just walking past him... he didnt even know we had the flag, or where we were taking it.
Hope this helps.
