I have been doing some snooping around to find a picture of these babies. There have been rumours that there will be strict security arrangements organised for the lan. One of these is the issuing of id cards which must be worn by all at all times (This includes trips to the local Maccas and KFC). Anyway, someone sent me in this photo, which shows FB sporting the now TF2 LAN id cards.

Can this be....have you ever been on cable for more than 18 months and then went BACK to modem? I once had my testicles stood on by a Ram we're trying to desex and I swear that was more fun that the experience of a 56k modem after having cable.

So I move to this new street...People who live in surrounding suburbs have cable, yet this 900m stretch of road apparently hasn't been cabled up yet. ADSL is "not far away" (Telstra termonology meaning = "Fuck man, we just broke the 64kbps bandwidth barrier 6months ago...give us a break")...so who knows how long I'll be on this gaybo dialup. Gotta make friends with some close cable kiddies so I can LAN.

Anyway...added to that, only one phoneline which means I gotta get off to make a phonecall. Like living in the 70s...I swear... :(
